I believe that the world would be a better place if people learned that helping others out of their problems could save them from their own. I am passionate about helping anyone climb out from the dark perils of whatever hell they are currently in. I am a person in long term recovery with a background that stems from an abusive & neglectful childhood (though many tried to intervene with love and kindness) which led to a bit more than the first decade of my adult life behind bars. My background in all its glaring scars are what makes me capable of reaching out to those who suffer from the same disease. I have a background in addiction studies, life coaching, personal training and am a current Industrial/Organizational Psychology Major. Meeting people where they are at to raise the bottom and lower barriers so they can get the quality of care they deserve as a human being is essential. I built Tunnel Vision Recovery based on what it took for me to get sober and build a quality way of life that supported my sobriety. If it works for me, it can work for anybody. Get connected with a healthy community, get a job and do the work

Helping people when they are at their lowest and most desperate moments and being part of the solution that helps bring them into the light is a constant fulfilling source of motivation and inspiration. I get to watch people fight for their recovery, rebuild their lives and restore their families, I am grateful for that opportunity. I struggled the same way through the loss of everything and everyone that mattered to me as my addiction consumed it all, someone helped me and my life has turned out better than I ever could have hoped for.

I work in the recovery field because I want to be a source of inspiration and hope to someone struggling with addiction. I’ve always had a passion for recovery and helping people who have suffered from alcoholism or substance use disorders. One thing that I’ve learned over the years is no one is ever too far gone or too far hopeless. Anyone can make a decision at any point in their lives to try something different. Recovery works. I’m on a mission to be a vision of hope for those who are still suffering. It’s an honor and a privilege to get the opportunity to guide people and show them a new and better way of life.

I am passionate about working in the substance abuse field because I have experienced the hopelessness it brings and have been uplifted by others until I could stand on my own. Witnessing other individuals reclaim their lives from addiction is one of the most beautiful things I have the privilege of being a part of. I am driven by a desire to help others find hope, achieve recovery, and rebuild their lives. By contributing my skills and compassion, I aim to make a positive impact and promote long-lasting change for those affected by substance abuse.
