I've been in multiple treatment programs and sober living homes and have never made the kind of progress that I've made with Tunnel Vision!! They've given me an amazing opportunity to start my life over again and even helped me regain guardianship of my son. Here we're not treated like a number or even a client, but more like family. I'm extremely grateful for Tunnel Vision and all the things they've done for me!!

Tunnel Vision truly helps people more than any other rehab I have ever been to. They really care about their clients getting back on their feet and build a life for themselves, and assist them in doing so. The houses are nice and clean. Food is provided, and no one goes without. This place is the first place I would recommend to my loved ones that are suffering from addiction.

My name is Derik tunnel vision got me out of a mess I would call my life. They got me out of Tennessee. I’m known for not trusting people so I would push them away no matter how hard I pushed they was there waiting with hugs they loved and believed in me when I didn’t now I’m not a person to dwell on mistakes I can just carry my message which has experienced strength and health where I’m at today. I’m currently back home in Tennessee clean. I got a job in sales. I’m a father. I’m a man. I’m a provider without them. Wouldn’t be able to do it without their they provided me with. They taught me family first and you can trust your friends you can rebuild relationships and boundaries are important and feelings are temporary. They taught me so much. I mean debt to them. My family is in debt to them. My family recognize the man I’ve became because of tunnel vision so if You thinking of going, don’t think just go. It’ll change your life.

OUR MISSION

To treat individuals with substance use disorders by treating the underlying issues that contribute to substance use.

We aim to assist in the healing and re-integration of all persons served by providing quality care from trained professionals.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is that substance use disorder does not have to be a terminal disease.

We believe that with the proper support and guidance all people have the ability to become productive and responsible individuals who can contribute to their communities, and humanity as a whole.

OUR MINDSET

At Tunnel Vision Recovery

Whether you are in PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program)IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) or OP (Outpatient Program) it is not a vacation destination to sit back and relax on the beach while your disease continues to fester and grow. Sure, there is a place in recovery for self care but it is a small piece of a large mosaic needed to attain a sustainable lifestyle of recovery. At Tunnel Vision Recovery we believe that this is a time to get busy in the business of living and thriving. We are peer driven so we speak from experience when we say that we have a disease that is progressive and fatal and does not take a break just because we stopped using and want to go to theme parks and do yoga in the sand. We want to motivate the people who come to us for help through a series of scaffolding techniques so that those people who come to us, quickly outgrow their need for us. We determine our success by their success.

THREE PILLARS TO SUSTAINED RECOVERY

Autonomy

We support individuals attain a sense of true freedom from external control or influence; regaining independence.

Self-Efficacy

Self-efficacy reflects confidence in the ability to exert control over one’s own motivation, behavior, and social environment.

Reintegration

Reintegration is the process and implementation of becoming a productive and contributing member of society.

What is Outpatient Addiction Treatment?

Outpatient addiction treatment is a flexible and effective approach for individuals seeking recovery while maintaining their daily responsibilities. This type of treatment allows individuals to live at home or sober living, making it ideal for those with a strong support system and have completed detox or residential. Outpatient programs typically involve regular meetings with therapists, counselors, or support groups, and may include medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings. This approach ensures that individuals receive the necessary support and guidance while continuing to work, attend school, or care for their families.

Benefits of Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Outpatient addiction treatment offers numerous benefits that make it an attractive option for many individuals. One of the primary advantages is flexibility; individuals can continue their daily activities, such as work or school, while receiving treatment. This type of program is also cost-effective, as it eliminates the need for room and board expenses associated with inpatient treatment. Additionally, outpatient treatment allows individuals to maintain their support system, including family and friends, which can be crucial for successful recovery. The personalized nature of outpatient programs ensures that each individual’s specific needs and goals are addressed, providing a tailored approach to addiction recovery.

Substance Abuse Treatment

Substance abuse treatment is a comprehensive approach designed to help individuals overcome addiction to drugs or alcohol. These programs often combine medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling, and therapy to address withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and underlying mental health issues. Whether inpatient or outpatient, substance abuse treatment programs are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. By addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction, these programs provide a holistic approach to recovery, helping individuals achieve long-term sobriety and improved mental health.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a proven method for managing withdrawal symptoms and cravings associated with addiction. This approach combines the use of medications, such as methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, with counseling and therapy to support individuals in their recovery journey. MAT is particularly effective for those struggling with opioid addiction but can also be beneficial for other types of addiction. By reducing the physical discomfort of withdrawal and stabilizing brain chemistry, MAT allows individuals to focus on the psychological and behavioral aspects of their recovery.

Counseling and Therapy

Counseling and therapy are vital components of substance abuse treatment, providing individuals with the tools and support needed to achieve lasting recovery. These therapeutic approaches help individuals identify and address underlying mental health issues, develop coping skills, and learn strategies to manage cravings and avoid triggers. Counseling and therapy can be conducted individually or in group settings, offering a personalized approach to treatment. Common therapeutic methods used in substance abuse treatment include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). By addressing both the emotional and psychological aspects of addiction, counseling and therapy play a crucial role in the recovery process.

We offer a range of treatment programs tailored to meet individual needs, including Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Evening IOP, and Sober Living arrangements. Each program is designed to support different stages of recovery and varying levels of care, depending on your current situation.

PHP is a structured program that provides intensive care while allowing clients to live at home. It includes individual therapy, group therapy, case management, and job readiness training. This program typically runs for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is ideal for those who need ongoing support after detox but do not require inpatient care.

IOP is designed for individuals who are ready to start reintegrating into daily life but still need regular therapy and support. We offer flexible schedules, including morning, evening, and weekend options, making it easier to attend therapy while balancing work or family obligations.

Yes, we provide sober living arrangements that offer a supportive, drug-free environment. Our sober living homes are ideal for those transitioning from PHP or IOP and need a stable living situation as they continue their recovery.

Yes, detox is required before joining any of our outpatient programs. Detox helps manage withdrawal symptoms and ensures that you begin treatment in a physically stable state. We can provide referrals to trusted detox facilities if needed.

Our job assistance program includes resume building, mock interviews, and job placement through partnerships with local employers. We are dedicated to helping clients regain financial independence and confidence as they transition back into the workforce.

The length of treatment depends on the individual’s needs. PHP usually lasts 30 to 90 days, followed by a step-down to IOP or Sober Living. Treatment is personalized to ensure long-term success in recovery.
